Specifications

Full page - full bleeds must be 8.75”w X 10.875 h (trimmed size) plus a 1/4 inch bleed. Double trucks are also available with full bleeds.

Any ad which simulates editorial copy must contain the tag “Paid Advertisement” in 10 point text at the top.

Submissions

Ads may be submitted via email, CD or other approved electronic media, and ftp. Contact your Idyllwild Life advertising representative for ftp access at ftp.idyllwildlife.com. All submissions of artwork must by accompanied by a hard copy proof.
 
 
Ad Formats

Idyllwild Life Magazine is printed on 60 lb glossy stock using a heat set press. Therefore, all color artwork (photos, graphics, etc.) for ads must be at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) resolution for acceptable image quality.

Camera-ready artwork may be submitted as PDF, TIFF, EPS, Corel 11, Photo Paint, or Adobe Illustrator and Photo Shop formats. All fonts for text must be converted to “curves”.
 
Proofs

A proof is your opportunity to check your ad for accuracy prior to publishing. Only one (1) proof will be provided for your approval. Proofs are only submitted if ad is received by closing deadline. Any changes must be indicated on proof and received by closing deadline. Additional, or excessive proofs may be billed at $20 per proof.
 
Frequency Advertisements

It is the responsibility of the advertiser to submit any ad changes (copy and artwork) for subsequent issues and all changes must be received by Idyllwild Life Magazine by ad closing dates.
 
 
Ad Design Services

Our experienced graphic design staff can create your advertisements for you. Our services include speculative designs and final layouts for production. Ask your Idyllwild Life advertising representative for full details.

We can provide full production assistance for advertising campaigns to insure uniformity for your business image. Advertising campaigns may include logo designs, business cards, brochures, flyers, restaurants menus, etc. Uniformity means that no matter where consumers see your products and services there is immediate recognition.
